"I'm an online health journalist hailing from Pennsylvania, where I spend most of my time writing, hiking and running. Over the course of my 24 years of life, I've pursued an obnoxious amount of fad diets, only to learn that my healthiest relationship with food came from loving and nourishing my body as it is, while working to improve my overall diet for maximum health. My journey has led me to become an avid long-distance runner living a vegan lifestyle, but I am always excited to share and swap new ideas with like-minded individuals in the health realm.
I currently hold a degree in the communications field and I'm working on obtaining further education in the areas of nutrition and sexual health. I've done extensive research and writing online and specifically enjoy educating women on sexual and reproductive wellness on my own site, So Well, So Woman! I’m a huge believer of how a plant-based diet is good for the environment, the animals and ourselves. Based in Hong Kong, I’ve noticed how the importance of healthy eating is hindered by the fast-paced city life. I went vegan at the age of 14 and have developed a huge passion for a healthy and conscious driven lifestyle since then. By cutting out animal products and eating unprocessed whole foods most of the time, I’ve developed a healthier relationship with food and experienced an improvement in my overall well-being.

Brought up as an ‘international’ kid - having moved around her whole life - she feels like every place and every person she meets is a story worth telling. Which is where the writing all began - from blogging to writing for online portals since the day she graduated. Writing has always been her go-to form of expression - with words being the best way to declutter the mind. Aside from writing, she’s always found calm in running and meditation (still a newbie to this one) - though she still can’t help but indulge in good local food from time to time - she still tries to balance to it all with a good dose of healthy, here and there. Everyday is a learning curve, every experience is something to take home.

I am passionate about health and wellness, and I thrive in connecting with people, and helping them to reach their own goals and true potential.
British by passport, KL has been my home now for over 10 years. After coming for a holiday to visit family on my way to Australia and New Zealand, I ended up staying here to pursue a job opportunity and the rest, you could say, is history. My time in KL has been fantastic, and my love of travel, experiences and adventures has grown firmly in that time.
After 9 years in sports marketing, events and business development, followed by a stint in the publishing field, I was fortunate enough to take some time out to rediscover my true passion and the bigger question - once found, could I turn it into a job!? My road of discovery lead me to wellness and training as a health coach with the globally renowned Institute of Integrative Nutrition, as well as training as a Personal Training (NASM) and Yoga Instructor (Yoga Alliance). I offer these services in KL under my brand Common Wellness, along with making the most of my marketing and events background, bringing together unique wellness events. Furthermore, I represent the global wellness platform, Welltodo in Asia, helping their expansion into the key markets of Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong through content, careers and events.
Morning yoga, running, cycling and fueling myself with wholesome and tasty food are my firm favourites when it comes to pastimes, along with travel, family, friends and a good glass of Malbec ;-)

I love travelling and learning new cultures. Differences in culture are to be embraced and celebrated. I feel rejuvenated every time I travel and I crave for more the instant I’m back home. I also enjoy cooking during my free time. It’s easier to connect to people’s heart through food especially when there’s a language barrier.
I am also learning to adapt into living a healthier lifestyle. I believe in taking small steps when it comes to healthy living and making lifestyle changes. I want to be able to inspire people along the way as I embark this lifetime journey with them.

When Sze Kaye launched into the Marketing space, her work capsule wasn't at a huge corporate firm. Instead, she found herself strategically positioned at what to her was the best digital consulting agency in town. In her three years there, her proudest achievement was bringing her colleagues together. Behind her quiet demeanour, her unique gift of bonding people saw her organising Halloween dress-ups, birthday pranks and even succeeding in getting her colleagues to complete a 30-day plank challenge which soon became a daily must-do in the office! Outside the digital media sphere, Sze Kaye is passionate about eating healthy and has since become a vegetarian for ethical reasons. She eats more than just salads and has been prepping her meals daily for almost two years now. Her colleagues can attest to her delicious and vibrant-looking meals! Sze Kaye has a knack for transforming sinfully indulgent desserts into unexpectedly healthy versions! Ask her about her really yummy brownie.
