Brought up as an ‘international’ kid - having moved around her whole life - she feels like every place and every person she meets is a story worth telling. Which is where the writing all began - from blogging to writing for online portals since the day she graduated. Writing has always been her go-to form of expression - with words being the best way to declutter the mind. Aside from writing, she’s always found calm in running and meditation (still a newbie to this one) - though she still can’t help but indulge in good local food from time to time - she still tries to balance to it all with a good dose of healthy, here and there. Everyday is a learning curve, every experience is something to take home.

I am passionate about health and wellness, and I thrive in connecting with people, and helping them to reach their own goals and true potential.
British by passport, KL has been my home now for over 10 years. After coming for a holiday to visit family on my way to Australia and New Zealand, I ended up staying here to pursue a job opportunity and the rest, you could say, is history. My time in KL has been fantastic, and my love of travel, experiences and adventures has grown firmly in that time.
After 9 years in sports marketing, events and business development, followed by a stint in the publishing field, I was fortunate enough to take some time out to rediscover my true passion and the bigger question - once found, could I turn it into a job!? My road of discovery lead me to wellness and training as a health coach with the globally renowned Institute of Integrative Nutrition, as well as training as a Personal Training (NASM) and Yoga Instructor (Yoga Alliance). I offer these services in KL under my brand Common Wellness, along with making the most of my marketing and events background, bringing together unique wellness events. Furthermore, I represent the global wellness platform, Welltodo in Asia, helping their expansion into the key markets of Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong through content, careers and events.
Morning yoga, running, cycling and fueling myself with wholesome and tasty food are my firm favourites when it comes to pastimes, along with travel, family, friends and a good glass of Malbec ;-)

I am a doctor and I enjoy the gift of life. I believe in living our lives to the fullest and no dream is out of reach. Becoming a doctor has been a childhood dream of mine and I have sacrificed most of my youth studying and it’s a decision that I will never regret. I love being in the medical field and having the ability to help people with their problems, let it be emotional or physical. I have been abroad for the past 6 years in Moscow completing my medical degree and I have developed a passion for medical missions. I have travelled to rural areas in India, villages in Sri Lanka and various places in Malaysia and Russia on medical missions to help the needy. I believe in giving back to the society.
Reading and writing has been my favourite past time since young, I can bury myself in books for hours and remain lost in the world the writer has created. I enjoy expressing myself through writing.
I love travelling and learning new cultures. Differences in culture are to be embraced and celebrated. I feel rejuvenated every time I travel and I crave for more the instant I’m back home. I also enjoy cooking during my free time. It’s easier to connect to people’s heart through food especially when there’s a language barrier.
I am also learning to adapt into living a healthier lifestyle. I believe in taking small steps when it comes to healthy living and making lifestyle changes. I want to be able to inspire people along the way as I embark this lifetime journey with them.

Annabelle is the face behind TheGreenBaker - an aspiring healthy baking endeavor. Growing up with seafood allergies and being lactose intolerant, she has always enjoyed discovering the ways food can heal and provide the fuel she needed as she was training as a state swimmer. In 2008, she became a vegetarian after witnessing the mistreatment of animals while working as a food and travel journalist in the US.At this time, she was also training for marathons and knew she had to obtain ample nutrition for her active lifestyle without the use of pills. And so a life-long passion and research began for healthy yet delicious food combinations. Experimenting with flavours and seasonal ingredients brought her solstice and a creative palate like never before, disproving the popular misconception that vegetarian food is “tasteless, bland, and depriving of oneself”. With the aim of getting certified as a Health Coach this year, her food philosophy is simple: Food should taste good and make you feel good - untainted, pure, and simple.
