Breast milk is the gold standard of nutrition for infants. However mums are sometimes too busy taking care of their little bubs while trying to juggle everyday life and responsibilities that they neglect their health and diet. Some mistakenly assume that eating a lot is adequate to provide baby with the nutrition that he or she needs. Unfortunately this is not true and results in weight gain for the mum during the breastfeeding period, instead of starting to shed the baby weight.

Truth be told, diet is about quality, not quantity. Choosing what you consume wisely will not only help in the production of good quality breast milk but also in maintaining the health of breastfeeding mums.

Now, let us introduce to you, the lovely mums, a simple and highly nutritious recipe that will help to boost your breast milk supply. It only takes 5 to 10 minutes of your time - ideal for your busy schedule. Only natural ingredients are used in this breakfast, topped with Brewer's yeast, lecithin, and flaxseed powder which are great as lactation boosting foods. At the same time they give you a sense of satiety, and also give your energy levels a quick boost.

Brewer's yeast: Naturally rich in B vitamins, minerals and proteins. Widely recognised as a traditional food, Brewer's yeast can help boost your energy levels and breast milk production, promote metabolism, and help in weight loss.

Lecithin: Lecithin is a natural emulsifier. It is good for your brain, promotes fat burning, helps ease the lactation and prevents the blockage of milk ducts.
