We all love avocados. Is there actually anyone who does not? Avocados are one of the most luscious fruits out there. High in good fat, it supports skin health, enhances the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients, and even helps to boost the immune system.
Avocados are also a great source of vitamin C, E, K and B-6 as well as are high in potassium and magnesium. But we have not yet mentioned tasty, because that is definitely something worth a mention.
Today, we have a special recipe for you that includes our favorite avos, Kelulut Honey and bananas. The smoothie is so thick and creamy, you’ll think it’s a milkshake. We love adding bananas to things because of its potassium-rich levels, which are wonderful to help lower blood pressure and also assists with the lowering of heart disease. Why Kelulut Honey you ask? Well Kelulut is a local honey that has a low GI making it ideal for diabetics and those who want to control their sugar intake. It’s also got a huge mineral and vitamin content and is very anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal and is also anti-bacterial. We also suggest adding some greens into the recipe to add some bulk and fiber - it’s actually a smart way to sneak in veggies into meals so you don’t taste them, but are still enjoying benefits. A smoothie wouldn't be complete without Pegaga by PurelyB. This particular blend of pegaga along with it’s herb and fruit content is notorious for helping with gut digestion and health. People also find great improvement to their skin and of course, the blend ensures your immunity is running at optimal levels - paramount for our current world situation.
So overall here’s what to expect from this smoothie concoction. It will help boost your immunity, it will help with your gut health (bananas make you regular) and you can also expect fresh, supple glowing skin. If you’re ready, here is what you need.
