PJ Midtown - Poised To Be The Pulse of PJ
Strategically situated on 5.5 acres in the vibrant Petaling Jaya, this mixed-use development features trendy residences, offices and retail space. Offering an ideal environment for a contemporary, integrated lifestyle - young families, discerning working professionals and astute businesses will find moving in here a step in the right direction. With a myriad of lifestyle, recreational and leisure facilities coupled with excellent connectivity and convenient access to public amenities, PJ Midtown presents unparalleled convenience to urbanites and having all their needs met in one place.
A brainchild from the collaborative partnership between well-known and award-winning industry heavyweights, IOI Properties and Sime Darby Brunsfield, this joint venture will see three groups leveraging on each other’s expertise and experience to create an iconic development, scheduled for completion in 2019. To date, this property development has clinched The Star Property Award 2016 – The Merit Award for the category of Best Earth Conscious Development. Their stylish, terrace-in-the-sky residences feature 60% natural greenery with rainwater harvesting system, energy-efficient designs that reduce power consumption and a facade with shading features that reduces heat penetration. These undoubtedly had set the stage for PJ Midtown to be awarded the Green Building Index (GBI) Gold Achievement in sustainable development.
World Environment Day Celebration
In conjunction with World Environment Day, PJ Midtown recently organised the Green and Wellness Event over the weekend. With an interesting line up of activities, visitors were treated to sharings on “Living Consciously” by Marissa Parry PurelyB’s Health and Wellness Director and “Sustainable Living For The Future” by Ar. Michael Ching, terranium-making workshops, healthy food demonstrations, relaxations sessions and a complimentary nutritious lunch.
Key takeaways from the sharings include caring for our planet and leading healthier lifestyles as families by using eco-friendly detergents, practising energy-saving tips, minimising water wastage, reducing plastic, going meatless on Mondays and repurposing items like cotton clothes into bags.
The food demonstration was a highlight for the audience as they learnt how to prepare quick and easy nutritious recipes such as Overnight Oars with Chia Seeds, Bananas and Dragonfruit, Chia Seed Pudding with Mango and Avocado Sushi Rolls. A young member of the audience joined Marissa on stage in making the sushi rolls and boy, did he make his Mum proud! The audience got to sample the sushi and the plate was clean in no time!
